How PolicyShark handles your information

Information we collect
When you request a policy scan, we collect the information you provide, including your name, email address, state, renewal date, optional current insurer, and policy document. We may also keep records of comparison results and communications about your request.
How we use it
We use this information to review your policy, request and compare eligible real quotes, contact you about the comparison, operate the service, and meet legal or operational obligations. We do not sell your policy document as a public listing.
Storage and access
Policy documents are stored in protected application storage and are not published through the site. Access is limited to people and service providers who need it to operate the comparison service. No system can guarantee absolute security, so please do not send information we have not asked for.
Sharing
We may share information needed to request or evaluate quotes with carriers, licensed brokers, and service providers involved in the comparison process. Final insurance applications and purchases are handled by the carrier or licensed broker.
Your choices
You may ask us to update or delete information we retain, subject to records we need to keep for legal, fraud-prevention, or operational reasons. Contact team@policyshark.madethis.app with your request.
Changes
We may update this notice as the service changes. The effective date above indicates the latest version.
