How PolicyShark handles your information

Information we collect
When you request a policy scan, we collect the information you provide, including your name, email address, state, renewal date, optional current insurer, and policy document. We may also keep records of received, reviewed quote results and communications about your request.
How we use it
We use this information to review your policy, prepare a factual coverage baseline, contact you about the comparison, operate the service, and meet legal or operational obligations. With your explicit authorization, we may share the documented minimum information in a factual email request to an owner-approved, verified Georgia personal-auto licensed broker where available. We never sell your information.
Storage and access
Policy documents are stored in protected application storage and are not published through the site. Access is limited to people and service providers who need it to operate the comparison service. No system can guarantee absolute security, so please do not send information we have not asked for.
Sharing
We share information for a comparison request only after your explicit authorization and only with an owner-approved, verified participating licensed broker where available. The broker request excludes policy files, phone numbers, and hidden case metadata. Final insurance applications and purchases are handled directly by the licensed broker or provider.
Your choices
You may ask us to update or delete information we retain, subject to records we need to keep for legal, fraud-prevention, or operational reasons. Contact team@policyshark.madethis.app with your request.
